Congratulations to Katharine Kidd for her dress, worn by Ariel Winter, being picked as one of the "best dressed" at the Emmy Awards!!

Katherine Kidd was a student of Jodi De Marcos from 2008-2009. She credits Jodi with introducing her to Fashion 101. "Jodi taught me about fashion illustration, basic pattern-making and draping on a dress form."

Katherine's dresses are now being worn by stars on the red carpet in Hollywood, and she has now opened a boutique shop on San Vicente Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA and is opening a second one in Atlanta, GA soon!

Expect to see her collection in a runway show in Paris in 2012!

Zoe Fiedel was a junior at Santa Barbara High School, and was in the VADA (Visual Arts and Design Academy) Program, when she studied at the De Marcos Fashion Academy. She was the youngest student here at the time, and now she has been accepted to Central St. Martin's in London!

Gabriella Gilman was a junior at Santa Barbara High School and was also in VADA (Visual Arts and Design Academy). She was a student at DMFA for 3 quarters. She interned with Jodi to design and make costumes for Big Stage Productions of Hairspray at the Lobero Theater.

Gabriella was recentl accepted to the Theater Design department at UCLA.

Maria Louise Suhr was a model at the De Marcos Model Agency, who later became a fashion designer. She won the Designer's Nest in Denmark in 2008, which is the equivalent of Project Runway in Denmark. One of the best-known models discovered by De Marcos Productions was, at the time, fifteen-year-old Guinevere Van Seenus from San Marcos High who has been featured on countless fashion magazine covers all over the world.

Jimmy Taenaka was a model at the De Marcos Modeling Agency while living in Santa Barbara and studying at UCSB. He is a Japanese-American actor from Monterey, California. 
A familiar face in Singapore and the United States. 
Feature film credits are The Chinese Man, Kung Fu Killer, American Yakuza and Showdown In Little Tokyo with the late Brandon Lee. 
Studied with Acting Coach Sal Romeo in Los Angeles.
